A first from India

I finally made a trip to India. I had held off on traveling there due to the time commitment simply getting there. But this past week, I finally pulled the trigger, traveling along the "golden triangle" - Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The above image was taken in the Amer Fort outside of the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan. Jaipur was, by far, my favorite of the three locations.

In Bruges

This past autumn, I checked off a location that I had wanted to visit since the film "In Bruges" was released. The town did not disappoint. Very medieval and very peaceful - my kind of European city!

A Smaller Bang

I stumbled across a rather cool sculpture located in the Hancock Building while hunting for dinner a few weeks back. Determined to shoot it with something other than my phone, I return this afternoon with a new camera (Fuji X-T2) and proceeded to take far too many photos. This capture caught my attention while uploading them. I hope you enjoy the capture.

Catching up...

It has been a while since my last update, apologies for that. I've had a busy winter. Trips to Nevada & Utah, Ecuador, and most recently Italy, have kept me rather busy. So here are a few catch up shots. Enjoy. The following is the Control Tower, located in Coyote Buttes South - It was a great day, I had the entire place to myself, followed by meeting G. Brad Lewis (aka Volcanoman) in the parking lot. Brad was an extremely nice (and rather famous) photographer of all things lava. Check out his work.

Kinzie St. Bridge

The elevated Kinzie St. railroad bridge, as seen from Kinzie St, during a mid-summer foggy dusk. The barge was removing material from the Riverwalk Extension project. It was massive and yet deceptively small in this photo. I thought it added a nice element to bottom portion of the picture.

BenjaminParkerPhotography.com site redesign!

I am pleased to announce the redesign of BenjaminParkerPhotography.com! This it the most interactive and user-friendly version of the site to date. Utilizing hybrid hosting from both Squarespace 6 and 500px, I am now able to quickly upload, organize, and sell prints. For this reason alone, I am extremely excited about this launch. But wait, there's more...

With this redesign, I have added the option to purchase images directly from my Portfolio page. Simply click on the image and at the bottom of the page you will see the "Buy Print or Canvas" link. This will take you to my 500px marketplace, where you can specify the print size, mounting, and framing options with a real-time preview of the finished product. Once your order is placed, it will be printed and drop-shipped directly to your door. I believe you will be very pleased with this super convenient method of purchasing high-quality prints. During this weekend only, there is a 25% off Valentine's Day sale. A perfect gift for that special Valentine in your life!
